his Little Zebra patternpattern is designed with simple stitches, making it beginner-friendly while still being fun for experienced crocheters. Whether you’re creating it for a child, a friend, or just for yourself

I wanted Little Zebra to have soft, flexible legs just like a real zebra. Designing this free zebra crochet pattern gave me the opportunity to experiment with a new technique:

Material:
 Yarn ( Susan ‘s Family ): white
( 06 ), black ( 21 ), light yellow
( 16 )
 Crochet hook size 2.2mm
 Safety eyes size 5mm
 Needle for sewing
 Stuffing (Polyfil)

Insert safety eyes between rounds 12-13 leaving a space of 6sc.
o Embroider the eyebrow with black embroidery thread.

Make a chain of 4ch, start in second ch from the hook

Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Press both layers of the arm’s open end together so that they lie flat on top of
each other aligning the stitches side by side. Join and sc together the 2 opposite
stitches (sc 5).
Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the arms to the body between round 14-16.

Stomach:
Use white yarn.
Make a chain of 4ch , start in the second ch from hook. Working in both in the
second ch from hook

1. Inc, sc, 4sc in the last st, continue on the other side of a
chain: sc, inc [ 10 ]
2. 2inc, sc, 4inc, sc, 2inc [ 18]

Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Tail:


In order to get a thicker tail, use two stands of the yarn together while
crocheting the tail ( a black thread – a white thread ). Insert your crochet hook
into between rounds 7-8 of body: 5ch , fasten off and trim the excess.

Legs: ( Make 2)
o Right leg
Use black yarn

  1. MR, 6sc [ 6 ]
  2. ( sc, inc )*3 [ 9 ]
  3. 9sc [ 9 ] Change the yarn to white. Fasten off

Left leg
Repeating rounds 1-3 of the right leg with the same color. Do not cut the yarn
as we will join the legs together to make the body

From the left leg, make a chain of 6ch, connect it to the right leg.
